I would happily recommend Ian and the team at YES Rec2Rec. I have found the service to be of a consistently high standard and the candidates they put us in contact with were well briefed and aware of all elements of the business, resulting in successful interviews and placements within our business ensuring that company wide all recruiting managers consider YES to be a credible and professional business. It is only due to current budgetary restraints that we are no longer using the services of YES, when this situation changes they will certainly be our first call!  

I have been working with Paul in trying to source entry level candidates into our business as well as experienced recruiters. Paul has a difficult job in the current climate and although he hasn't filled a requirement as yet no other agency has either, we have pretty tough standards.

The difference with Paul is honesty and understanding. He understands our requirement and is sourcing against it unlike many other agencies who are just trying to push a round peg in a square hole.

I called YES as I found them via Google. We are a London based recruitment firm, specifically for the PR and Comms industry. We were in need of finding a Consultant to launch the Northern arm of our business and I contacted YES for some help. Although I have held the belief that Rec to Recs, by their very nature, represent somewhat of an anomaly in the marketplace (the theory being that; quality recruiters would presumably market themselves using their acquired skills and contacts!) – I have to concede that Ian Havers appears to have quashed this argument.

YES first made contact with me on 7th March 2007 to discuss a candidate for the position of Recruitment Consultant for our London Bridge branch. THhe Consultant had full details on the candidate and answered most questions I asked. Anything she wasn’t sure of she made a point of finding out and advising me asap. We arranged an interview for this candidate on Monday 12th March.
The consultant followed up the appointment with a letter of interview confirmation. She then contacted TP following his interview for feedback and also had his feedback ready for us. In the meantime, She contacted me regarding another candidate for another position at London Bridge; again she followed the same process and was even making contact with this candidate on my behalf whilst the candidate was in South Africa. YES arranged an interview for the day after the candidate arrived back in the UK and proceeded to follow the same actions as she had with the previous candidate.

I first contacted YES Rec-to-Rec whilst finalising a preferred supplier list of rec-to-rec suppliers to assist the Match Group through a period of change following an acquisition and integration strategy.

Whilst contact was made at the final stages of the tender process, Ian Havers recognised the importance of developing close working relationships, and of assuming a long-term view of aligning his supply ability and delivery attributes, with the strategic development plans of important customers.

The response from YES rec-to-rec was refreshingly honest and consequently stood apart from numerous ‘sales’ proposals.
