Thanks for fixing me up with my new employer, it is just the environment, team and company that I was looking to join.

After my first 3 weeks which have included only about 5 or 6 days of actual recruiting I have already got a few interviews organised and a dozen good CV’s specced to 7 solid permanent positions. I am sure I will be placing at least 1 candidate this week and more to follow, so I feel that I am ahead of where I expected to be at this point.

I stumbled across Paul from YES Rec2Rec after applying for a position.
I have to admit, I was almost ready to give up my job search after finding most positions were through agencies and I had become somewhat deflated at consultants not returning my calls and me having to constantly chase them!
 
Paul was extremely thorough during the initial telephone pre-screen, whilst maintaining a very friendly and professional manner.
Not only did he give me all the relevant details of the position of interest, but he also put forward alternative options.

      I contacted Paul at Yesrec2rec after a referral from a previous employer and can only say very positive things about my experience.  When I first called and spoke to Paul he arranged a suitable time to go through my CV and advised me on how to ensure my CV would be as attractive as possible to potential recruiters.  He called promptly for the arranged call and had obviously done some preparation and investigation into potential companies that may be interested in my details.

I have used numerous recruitment companies before and to be honest, became quite despondent with the level of pro-activeness and hard work they put in for me. I am writing to say thankyou for all of your efforts recently.

I initially responded to an advertisement via a website. I had a call from Adrian Head within half an hour of my application. I found him to refreshing professional – interviewing me for an hour. During this time he identified what I wanted from my next career move and exactly what type of organisation I wanted to work for.

The next day, still within 24 hours of my application, Adrian had created three new opportunities which he spoke to me about at great length. Each new opportunity was explained in detail and I was left in no doubt about  what each of his clients were looking for.  I first spoke with YES on Wednesday 9th, by the end of the day I had an interview set up for Monday 14th. By Friday 18th I had attended 1st and second interviews with two companies YES thought would suit me and received offers of employment from both. 

YES instinctively knew what would be right for me, knew their clients well and told me what I would have to do to get ready for the interview. YES was always available at the end of a phone when I needed them and was happy to text or email when I was in work and couldn’t talk. Having recently been placed as an Operations Manager at a well known Social Work Recruitment Company by YES, I think this is a fantastic opportunity to provide them with a testimonial.

I began looking for alternative employment in October 2006, I have had previous dealings with rec to rec companies but have not found any of the consultants as efficient and friendly as those at YES (hence not being placed by them!!)

I contacted YES because of a position advertised, within 24 hours they had contacted me and we spoke about what I was looking for, what impressed me further was that within 2 hours they had spoken to organisations that I would want to work for and arranged a couple of interviews!
